The Green
Deal evaluation is a gateway to the Green Deal. Nobody will be able to get
there builiding a Green Deal plan without a qualified evaluation of the
building and measures that could improve the energy efficiency of their home.
This
evaluation and accompanying advice can only be carried out by a qualified and
authorised Green Deal advisor.
The Green
Deal advisor will have to have technical knowledge and practical competence to
provide households the advice they need to take informed decisions.
Sotrain in
Kent a City and Guilds approved center has the necessary qualifications and
specifications for all Green Deal Advisors.
■So what are the requirements
to be a qualified, authorised green deal advisor?
Well a
qualified, authorised Green Deal Advisor is any individual who meets the
requirements set in the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Green Deal
Advisors.

training, so that any individual can meet the standards to become a future
Green Deal Advisor.
■How do I become employed as a
Green Deal assessor?
Sotrain in
Kent knows that the Green Deal assessor may be employed in one of several ways:
.Salaried
employee or sub-contractor of one or more Green Deal providers/installers.
.An
independent, self-employed Green Deal assessor commissioned directly by a
consumer.
